Omelettes, one of the most delicate egg dishes, are known for their soft and fluffy texture. But if cooked wrong, they can be dry or overcooked instead.
Now, there’s an easy way to make sure your omelettes are perfect every time, all thanks to a simple air fryer method — and there’s no flipping needed either.
A foodie named Melanie Mendelson, also known as Melanie Cooks, shared her easy recipe online, and people are amazed.
Posting the recipe on her food blog, she called it a “breeze to make” and said: “The best part is, you don’t even need to flip an omelette when you cook it in the air fryer!”

Melanie regularly shares her easy-to-follow recipes, and this one couldn’t be simpler.
This recipe is for a cheese omelette, but you can include all of your favorite ingredients from fresh vegetables to flavorful meats. You just need a pan small enough to fit in your air fryer. Here’s how to make it:

To start off, spray your pan with cooking spray to make sure the omelette doesn’t stick and burn. Alternatively, you can brush the pan with a few drops of oil.
Put the pan in the air fryer and get your omelette ingredients ready. Break the eggs into a bowl and pour in the milk.
As you stir, add the cheese until it’s all mixed together.
Pour this mix into the pan in the air fryer, making sure it spreads evenly across the pan. Let it cook for six minutes at 190C.
After it’s cooked, take the pan out of the air fryer and let it cool down for a bit. Once it’s cooled, sprinkle on your seasonings and garnishes.
Make sure it’s cool first so your omelette doesn’t dry out and stays deliciously fluffy. Enjoy with some “mess-free” sausages or this “fancy” version of beans on toast.
